LEGO Tintin.

Post by Legoheimer on May 19th 2011, 4:34 am

Hey! Does anyone remember the famous Belgian explorer with the ginger-haired quiff? Tintin!!

On 23rd December 2011, Tintin and the Secret of the Unicorn is coming out. It's not drawing animation, it's not real people acting... It's CGI! ????

Anyway, who thinks there will be LEGO Tintin? What sets will there be? What will the minifigures look like? Explain in the replies...

~Legoheimer~ :)

there are probably not gonna be any sets... TinTin isn't owned by Disney.

I call upon a Mod to move this, TinTin is not a theme and if it was it would go under licensed themes, it has nothing to do with historic themes.

Also, you're raising hope for a MOC, chande the title to rumour discussion.

Further more you haven't made an introdduction topic thus making your idea sound even worse for some odd reason.

Spaming is something not taken nicely around here.

Oh, JCC, you and your lack of european culture, that is why you have failed to put fear into the hearts of this forum's users, we invented ettiquette and Hérgé invented TinTin...

I have a bujillion of the books, there are even some cartoons, they're pseudo-cool, two english twins that look like Charlie Chaplin(Charlot, as the french call him) and everything, and I didn't mention captain hadok(I think that's his name)

Then again it's made in france, I believe, even though I think Hérgé is from Belgium.

Hey, I know plenty about European culture. Perhaps I just needed to add cartoons to it now. Neutral

Garfield is big all around. They've made many a couple movies of him, not any kind of toy that wasn't a knock of came out. I highly doubt of this release. US is LEGO's biggest customer, and if we won't buy it (no one in America knows of Tintin) they won't sell it. Sorry. I'm 100% certain on this.

Tintin's Belgian. He was created for Le Petit Vingtieme, or Xxe. ( The small twenties) A childrens magazine. It was created in 1929, I've got the first story, Tintin in the Land of the Soviets... Smile

Alright Flare, that was unnecessary, sure it's a joke, but it doesn't really end up relating to the topic, the same goes for Legoheimer, sure it's insight and everyone loves to chat sometimes, but really, I was just explaining to JCC what tintin was no need for you to pop up out of nowhere and say "tintin ran from the sombies in paris when he was confronted by a heavily changed milu, she shot blood from her eyes and hate humans for breakfast"

I really do NOT like calling out staff members, but that was just unnecessary...

Yeah, I go by Bossky on Yakface. Since my favorite character is Bossk, it sort of stuck. And I know Garven is JCC1004, from his Youtube channel.
