I know! I'm looking at the reviews and the catalogue just thinking "I'll have you now!" But that's irrelevant, because I'm not buying Vader's TIE...

Re: Recent Aquisitions
I don't like custom parts. I don't know, it just doesn't seem right to me. And also i don't like taking apart sets, that's why I can't make good MOCs. I need to go to LEGO Rehab! Not just for this, but for going crazy and opening all of Series 2 at once! Ah!
But I'm not going to post in here for a while, until I see one huge, and one small box on the table at my birthday! (Also 1 or 2 minifigs)

Re: Recent Aquisitions
Well, JCC already knows this, but yesterday my brother went to get his new car and he and my father went to the super market on their way back... they were nice enough to get me the camper set... I love my family!
Also watch the Mafia Games forum closely, soon I'll be posting the intro comic to the game, I'll be taking the pics tomorrow(I get out of school three hours earlier, thank god for the difficulty to find a decent english teacher on short notice!)
Also my school/Hogwarts building(from the left side of my avatar pic)/ Wayne Manor should be getting a roof soon, so look out for my Moc's 'cause they are coming, I guess I'll start off with my Arc Ivory gunship(even though I already posted the slave 1) and then maybe do a review of my MOC Batwing(finnaly I made one that looks good and fits 2! it was the first time in YEARS that my brother built alongside me, I only asked him to design, but I guess every now and then even guys who didn't particularly like to build, like to get the bricks out of the old box, and it was cool of him because it was during the world cup and Portugal was playing while we were building(he likes football ALOT!))
Cheers.

Crap how did you get 8,000 white 2 by 4? That is $1000+ I would never have spent that much on white 2 by 4 pieces when I was twelve.

How could a twelve year old get a hold of that amount? I'm 24 and would have a hard time. Also your profile used to say your 19. I bit baffled....

Re: Recent Aquisitions
I was afraid that a younger person would not get repect here, like all the other forums, but now that I see that there are other twelve year olds, I changed it to my real age, sorry. I got them off craigslist for $200, It was some lady who husband died and was selling his collection, she gave me the estament of 8,000 white 2x4s.

Used, but not yellowed. Forgive me for lying about my age at first.

No problem.
Also I think I'm probably going to score a complete(may be missing a few little bits but may not) Jabba's Sail Barge for 70 bucks.

But the whole point of Lego is to build your own stuff, I never saw the point of not breaking your sets.

Brickfoot7 wrote:I try to keep my sets in mint condition.
Same here. I have to make sure everything is in good condition and complete. My collection is near-perfect as far as I know. A few of my figures lost a little god on their printing, but that's it. Also I like restoring some sets if they don't cost a fortune in replacements.

I have to agreee with Wacky. I tend to take apart my sets too. I have to resist the urge so many times, because it may have one piece that I really need, but than I remember bricklink.

I just don't want too, I agree with JCC and Brickfoot. I regret taking apart some sets (Battle Packs) and I don't want to any time soon. Some sets have great parts, but are too cool to destroy!
